I missed a few challenges in Part One. Several more were just too awesome to leave off the list.
Now keep in mind, a lot of these will happen naturally (a-z, backlist, new releases) so don’t stress. We’re not responsible for overachiever burnout!
So here’s a few more to tempt you with…
Part Two:
The 2019 New Release Challenge is a year-long challenge in which the goal is to read books released in 2019. Brandee and Lexxie at (un)Conventional Bookworms is hosting this one.
The Bookwyrms Hoard is starting The Backlist Reader Challenge (#BacklistReader) which encourages you to read all those older books that have been piling up on your TBR pile or list—not just the books you already own, but also the books you’ve wanted to read for a long time but haven’t gotten around to yet.
Nicole at Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon at It Starts at Midnight are hosting the 2019 Book Blog Discussion Challenge. This challenge is meant to give everyone a little motivation to keep the discussions going on our blogs. Discussions can be about whatever you want as long as it’s relevant to books or book blogging.
Anne Bogel of Modern Mrs Darcy is doing her 2019 Reading Challenge for the ninth year! The focus is on “ten categories that have helped thousands of readers enjoy best-of-the-year reading experiences.” If you listen to the MMD podcast, What Should I Read Next, you know you’ll have plenty of excellent titles to choose from, all year long.
Passages to The Past is hosting the 2019 Historical Fiction Reading Challenge. Any sub-genre of historical fiction is accepted (Historical Romance, Historical Mystery, Historical Fantasy, Young Adult, History/Non-Fiction, etc.).
Girlxoxo has a fun theme for every month over at Monthly Motif Reading Challenge. Read a book that corresponds to a different theme or motif each month.
QOTD: Which challenge looks interesting to you? Think you’ll participate in any?
