The Sunday Post 92219 #weeklyrecap #orangecountyreads

What’s Up Bookworms?! Happy Sunday! How was your reading week?

I finished Everything You Are by Kerry Anne King and then read about 150 pages of Akin by Emma Donoghue and have set it aside for now. I was a little bored, even though Noah and Michael were interesting characters.

I just checked and I have DNF’d five books this month! Yikes.

The best thing that happened last week? Getting together with my book friends and seeing David Yoon discussing his new book! He’s married to Nicola Yoon and they’re the most adorable couple. She interviewed him and you could tell she is incredibly proud of him.

I also joined Goodreads and the Little Free Library organization for a week long celebration called #giveagoodread Readers everywhere posted pictures of little free libraries that they donated to. On Thursday I met a lovely family who were visiting my library. Then on Friday I visited a bunch of little libraries in Fullerton and donated books at each one.

I got my ticket for Michael Connelly at the Pasadena Public Library! Who else is planning on seeing MC for this book tour?

Banned Book Week starts today! Are you sharing any special posts?

I spent some time “tidying” the blog this week. I changed the theme and worked on an A to Z listing of all the books I’ve reviewed (over 80!) Check it out here. I also wrote a ton of content for future posts.

Lastly, here are a few links I found interesting this past week.

Are you joining Non-Fiction November? I participated last year and really enjoyed it. Here is the link to the weekly prompts – check it out. There’s even an Instagram photo challenge!
