This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Favorite Book Couples! ❤️
Here are a few of my favorite OTPs along with quotes from the book.
1. Tatiana and Alexander from The Bronze Horseman trilogy by Paullina Simons
“Alexander raised his shaking right hand to his temple, to his lips, to his heart.” ❤️
2. Juliet and Dawsy from The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows
“Think of it! We could have gone on longing for one another and pretending not to notice forever. This obsession with dignity can ruin your life if you let it.” ❤️
3. Evelyn and Celia from The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
“Please never forget that the sun rises and sets with your smile. At least to me it does. You’re the only thing on this planet worth worshipping.” ❤️
4. Chloe and Jon from Providence by Caroline Kepnes
“[In a relationship] someone’s gotta be the iceberg and someone’s gotta be the sun.” ❤️
5. Daniela and Jason from Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
“I’m looking for a grain of sand on an infinite beach.” ❤️
6. Rachel and Nick from Crazy Rich Asians series by Kevin Kwan
“This place is very real. You’re the dream,” Nick answered as he kissed her deeply.” ❤️
7. Lou and Al from The Coincidence of Coconut Cake by Amy Reichert
“Coconut teased him with tropical deliciousness; then the vanilla he so often smelled on Lou’s neck wafted up. He ached to hold her, smell that spot right behind her ear.” ❤️
8. Isabel and Tom from The Light Between Oceans by M. L. Stedman
“But he wishes the people really knew who they were mourning: the Isabel he had met on the jetty, so full of life and daring and mischief. His Izzy. His other half of the sky.” ❤️
9. Rosie and Don from The Rosie Project by Graeme Simpsion
“I haven’t changed my mind. That’s the point! I want to spend my life with you even though it’s totally irrational. And you have short earlobes. Socially and genetically there’s no reason for me to be attracted to you. The only logical conclusion is that I must be in love with you.” ❤️
10. Fallon and Ben from November 9th by Colleen Hoover
“I don’t want to be your first, Fallon. I want to be your last.” ❤️
QOTD: Have you read any books on my list? Who is your favorite book couple? ❤️

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I have read five of the books you listed, my favorite being The Light Between Oceans. My favorite couple is Poldark and Demelza from the the Poldark series by Winston Graham.

Love the way you’ve included a quote from each book. I really enjoyed The Rosie Project when I read it a few years ago.

Thanks! Crazy Rich Asians is a MUST read! Have you seen the movie? They did an excellent job!

I don’t want to see the movie until I’ve read the book, but I’ve heard such good things about both!

How haven’t I read The Bronze horseman yet? It seems so sweepingly romantic and historical, this is the year, I say! You’re list is one of the most enlightening I’ve seen bc I didn’t realize some of these contained couples to love, like Dark Matter, I’m even more intrigued in reading now.
Of course, Juliet and Dawsey are darling, something about epistolary love stories is so swoony. Thanks for dropping by my TTT

Thanks so much! Your list was awesome too…Bridget Jones and her Diary? Charlotte and Wilbur? Very clever.
In reading everyone else’s lists, I really should’ve included Anne and Gilbert and Buttercup and Westley! 😍

Aw, thanks blush, blush I appreciate that. Buttercup and Westley are total couple goals<3

I hope you do read The Bronze Horseman series someday! It’s my #1 favorite love story. There’s this part where Alexander makes Tatiana a table for peeling potatoes and it’s the right height for… you know… 🔥 🔥

I wanted to include Evelyn and Celia too, but I didn’t want to spoil it for anyone who hadn’t read it! It was partially spoiled for me before I read the book, and although it didn’t ruin it for me, I think it would have had even more impact if I hadn’t known.

Shoot you’re probably right. Maybe I should mention there might be spoilers?
