My Review:

What doesn’t kill her. … better start running!

This playful tagline speaks to the new and “improved”!Kellen Adams who we met in book one Dead Girl Running (See my full review.)

Note: I’ve read a few reviews from friends who didn’t read book one. Trust me- you need to read it first to get the full impact!

Kellen is trying to move forward with her life but her complicated relationships with her ex lover Max and the daughter she didn’t know she had (Rae) have her uncomfortably aware of what she missed while she was in the coma. She’s keeping her distance which is understandable.

Kellen is soon wrapped up in a new mystery as her new job becomes more dangerous than anyone expected. As she’s unraveling who’s trying to kill her and why, her precocious daughter is a welcome addition to the fast paced tension. The cliffhanger at the end is exciting and deceptive. I can’t wait to see what happens!
