Disturbing. Imaginative. Complicated. Riveting. Dark.

Colleen Hoover’s latest read Verity is a complete and glorious masterpiece of mind-f**kery…’scuse the language.

If you’ve never read a Colleen Hoover book maybe don’t start with this one?! It’s so different and so gripping and it’s got a lot of sex. A lot. This is the NC-17 CoHo Book!

The book starts off with a pretty graphic traffic accident that Lowen witnesses. She’s a writer on her way to an interview and she’s on her last few bucks. She gets the offer of a lifetime and goes to Vermont to work on a writing project. Jeremy, his wife Verity and their young son Crew have had to deal with some epic tragedies. Lowen has been hired to finish/co-write a book series that Verity began.

As Lowen begins to go through the notes and outlines, she finds something very disturbing. And that’s all I can say… it’s a fast-paced, cleverly done read.

I’m so glad CoHo wrote this book – clearly she has crazy talent and it’s wonderful to see her stretching her writing chops. She is so generous with her fans and it’s perfect to think she’s friends with Caroline Kepnes who is also crazy talented in a similarly dark and sweet way.

If you can handle dark and twisted and jaw-dropping – this just might be the book for you.

  1. I just finished this ebook this week and I was blown away. A long time fan of Colleen Hoover, I couldn’t believe the same author wrote this crazy, draw dropping suspense. What an amazing writing mind she has. Great review.
