  1. Lovely post! I have Beartwon on my TBR and I’ve heard so many wonderful things about it, I really look forward to reading it.

  2. I didn’t love Beartown (which saddened me as I love Backman’s other books) but I LOVED Us Against You, Beartown’s sequel. And we hardly ever see movies but actually got to see Crazy Rich Asians and I loved it. I think I might have like it better than the book — gasp.

The best bookish gift I received this year was a pair of bookworm socks from my best friend for my birthday. They are hilarious and awesome!

  3. Love, love this post! I’m about some oil diffusing this year, and I really need to get myself a letter board. And I still haven’t seen Crazy Rich Asians! I don’t even know how that’s a thing.

  4. Crazy Rich Asians. Yep. Right there with you. My wife said she tried the book but didn’t like it, but loved the movie. I didn’t try the book, but might still. We’ll see. I know, though, that I loved the movie!

  5. OMG I LOVED THE DREAM DAUGHTER
My mom read it first and raved about it so much that I had to read it. It would be a great book club pick, because we both had so much to talk about. Mainly what we thought the characters SHOULDN’T have done. One thing though… who forgets about 9/11????
