Happy Monday! It’s the 45th week of the year and singer Bryan Adams is 59 years old today! What?! Who remembers the three movies in the 90s he did the title tracks to?It’s a new month and my favorite time of year – family, baking, shopping, acts of kindness. I plan on enjoying it and being present in the moment! What are your personal goals for the last few weeks of 2018?

Dear Mrs. Bird was delightful and a wonderful story about friendship and loyalty during World War II. It reminded me a bit of Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society in that while on the surface it might seem like a light hearted story, it’s set during a time that was devastating to so many.
