It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

Last week, the founder of the Little Free Library movement died of pancreatic cancer. It happened incredibly fast. The announcement went out on Wednesday and he was gone on Thursday. He was a huge inspiration and he made such an impact on thousands of lives. In the nine short years since he built the first little library in honor of his mom, over 75,000 little free libraries have been registered in over 88 countries! To read more, please click over to This is our little library, charter #41366. Thoughts and prayers to his family. 🙏

I did manage to read four books last week, which equals a pretty good reading week! I finished up a buddy read and also participated in two book exchanges which was so much fun. I highly recommend following @BusyMamaBookSwap on Instagram if you want to participate in the next one!

Last Week’s Reads:

Daisy Jones & The Six, Tara Jenkins Reid (Out March 5, 2019) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Care & Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls, Anissa Gray (Out February 19, 2019) ⭐️⭐️.5

Good Luck With That, Kristin Higgins ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Winter Street, Elin Hilderbrand ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Rush by Lisa Patton (August 21, 2018) – loving this southern sorority story set at Ole Miss. Chapter 17 and making quick progress.

Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows – reviews from friends has been wonderful, I didn’t connect with the main character and felt the stories distracted me too much.

The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory – I tried this one twice and just couldn’t continue. The main character was so annoying and self absorbed. It’s supposed to be a light rom-com so I know others will enjoy it.

The Traveling Cat Chronicles – I love cats and animal stories. This one is told from alternating viewpoints – the cat and the human. A lot of book friends say it’s a slow start so I may come back to it.

Beautiful Bad – Annie Ward (Out March 19, 2019)

The Library Book – Susan Orlean (October 16, 2018)

The Rain Watcher – Tatiana deRosnay (October 30, 2018)
