Thursday 18th Top 5 Non-Horror Halloween Movies
While everyone else is watching horror films I’m over here with Charlie Brown and Spookley the Square Pumpkin!
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
A classic and heartwarming tale. Will this Halloween be the one when the Great Pumpkin comes? Longtime believer Linus thinks so, and keeps watch all night in the pumpkin patch to welcome him.
Never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker. – Linus
Spookley The Square Pumpkin
In a world where “The only good pumpkins are round pumpkins!”ย Spookley: The Square Pumpkinย is often teased by the other pumpkins because of his odd shape.
“It’s fine to be round while the weather is fair, but there are times it’s better to be a square!” – Spookley
The Addams Family
When long-lost Uncle Fester reappears after twenty-five years in the Bermuda Triangle, Gomez and Morticia plan a celebration to wake the dead.
“This is my costume. I’m a homicidal maniac. They look just like everybody else.” Wednesday
The Dog Who Saved Halloween
Zeus & the Bannisters have moved into a new house, just in time for Halloween! Everything seems to be going well until they notice strange lights and sounds coming from neighbor Eli’s house. Can Zeus save Halloween?
Wallace and his loyal dog, Gromit, set out to discover the mystery behind the garden sabotage that plagues their village and threatens the annual giant vegetable growing contest.
“It’s a veritable vegetable paradise!” -Wallace
Have you seen any of these non-spooky films? What’s your favorite?
For the month of October, I’ve joined book bloggers Sam and Clo to celebrate BLOGOWEEN! ๐๐ป. I’ll be following some of the hosted prompts and encourage you to visit the hosts and show some love!
The Addam’s Family will forever be a classic and one of my favorites! I haven’t seen the others, but they look neat! I may just watch them this weekend! Great list!
