As of this post, I have 620 Books I Want To Read on goodreads.com!
BUT now it’s time to be ruthless and figure out why π€·ββοΈ I put it on the list and if I still want to read it. π€

Date Added: August 2015
Thoughts: okay I’ll admit I sometimes read my horoscope and have always been intrigued by personality similarities between people. But…ain’t nobody got time for that now!
Verdict: Remove π«
Date Added: August 2015
Thoughts: I have other Jane books to get to and I didn’t connect with the story line about party girls and addictions. The cover is stunning. Sorry Jane, I’m being ruthless! Arguments?
Verdict: Remove π«
Date Added: August 2015
Thoughts: Very interesting premise. Fictional account of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, an ordinary seeming Jewish couple who were the only Americans put to death for spying during the Cold War.
Verdict: Keep β
Date Added: September 2015
Thoughts: I like this author a bunch and always come away having learned something. This is from 2007 and I certainly can’t pass up a “wild child” living in the woods.
Verdict: Keep β
Date Added: September 2015
Thoughts: This author is a much loved Australian author. Reviews say it “requires careful reading”. It’s set in the 1950s and centers around a Hungarian immigrant with childhood polio.
Verdict: Keep β
Date Added: October 2015
Thoughts: I own this one. I adore Lucinda Riley. Easy decision.
Verdict: Keep β
Date Added: October 2015
Thoughts: Another easy decision. I actually can’t believe I haven’t read it yet! Kathryn Craft is an incredible storyteller and her partial memoir The Far End Of Happy is on my Top Ten list of Hidden Gems.
Verdict: Keep β
Date Added: November 2015
Thoughts: A part of me want to keep this one as I’m a big fan of almost all of Lisa’s stand-alone titles. I just don’t think I can start another series. π
Verdict: Remove π«
Date Added: January 2016
Thoughts: This one is fairly recent from 2015. The author is a poet so the writing must be beautiful. It’s about the art world and marriage.
Verdict: I don’t know π€·π»ββοΈ
Date Added: January 2016
Thoughts: I was incredibly moved by another title by Wally Lamb, I Know This Much is True and would like to read more by this author. All about a 13 year old Dolores who must grow up too fast and literally eats her feelings. Some reviews say it’s horrifying and a train wreck of a story, that it feels contrived.
Verdict: Keep β
Eek I only got rid of three books!
I’m curious to know if you disagree with any of my choices?
Or agree?
Any of these I should give a second chance to or boot off the list?
Help a girl out! Tell me in the comments!
No idea about these books, as haven’t read them. I have few books on Goodreads TBR, haven’t seen it since a year. Hehehe π€·π»ππ
