Thoughts: Heart-wrenching must read. Shows the incredible resilience of the human spirit and what atrocities we are capable of. Sadly this amazing survivor passed away in 2016.

Thoughts: I think I understand the basic concepts of this author’s message. I don’t need to read this to know he focuses on very traditional roles in marriage.

Thoughts: I have never been interested in F. Scott Fitzgerald or his wife Zelda and while this book is thoroughly researched, I’d rather spend my time on a different biography. Maybe I’ll watch the Amazon adaptation with Christina Ricci
