I loved the latest novel by Caroline Kepnes. She has created three different characters that are so genuine and full of angst and pain.
I got to hear her speak recently at a Vroman’s in Pasadena recently and was so impressed with her intelligence and heart and of course her DARK SIDE. Someone asked her a question about Jon and she literally clutched her heart ❤️. She knows these characters intimately and as a reader, I appreciated the deep insight and thoughtful details.
My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review:
Caroline. My heart. It’s raw and tenderized after reading Providence. Jon Bronson is my new favorite book boyfriend. He’s a gentle giant and a tortured soul and as result of a terrible event he’s forever changed. And he’s now a hunk! But he can’t be near his love, Chloe. And she’s been in love with him since she was eleven. She’s a good person through and through and her loyalty and her artistic talent make her accessible and real. Eggs. What can I say about Charles DeBenedictus? Besides his crazy cool name, this character is equal in weight and importance to Jon and Chloe. Caroline has a way of sketching her protagonists with such depth and pain and honesty. Highly recommend.
