I posted this back in August 2018, but since it was recently released- please take a look at the review for True Places by Sonja Yoerg!
“Suzanne’s take, unchanged since her adolescence, was somewhat different. Men were unreliable, self-serving shits. That didn’t mean she hadn’t had lovers, or even a boyfriend or two, starting in her late teens, but her heart wasn’t on the line—it wasn’t anywhere anyone could damage it.”
I am such a sucker for cover art that is designed like that–just simple and still gorgeous. That being said, this book sounds pretty great and this is the first I am hearing of it. I am DEFINITELY here for it based on your review.
Thank you so much Jessica! I hope you get a chance to read it (or anything by this author!)
I’m totally going to have to!
love the cover

I didn’t realize this was a re-release. I went and read your review and you have definitely piqued my interest. Wonderful review, even with those big words you had to look up. 😁😆
Thanks Carla! I hope you enjoy if you get to read it – perfidy… that was one of the words. 😂
