Do you have a mother in law or a monster in law? What would you do if the man you loved was a momma’s boy who couldn’t see how awful and manipulative she was? What if she would do anything to end your relationship?

Pammie is the MIL and Emily and Adam are the happy couple. Emily wants the fairytale and hopes she can get Adam to see what Pammie is doing before she causes more destruction.

I enjoyed the British setting and euphemisms. I liked that they could go to Portugal for a 4 Day Hen Party! (Of course the men went to Vegas.). I also really liked Emily’s friendship with Seb and Pippa. I just didn’t understand why Emily stayed for so long and made herself so crazy. Was she really that blind and stubborn? I struggled to finish this one.

I received an advance reader copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
