I’m BEYOND excited to join the Tall Poppy collective today as one of the featured “bookstagrammers” for insta-bloom week! I’ll be on Instagram and Facebook today talking books and bookstagram!
If you’re already “In Bloom”, I’m preaching to the choir when I rave about these authors! You don’t need me to tell you how kind, warm, funny and talented these women are.

If you’re new to the group, I can guarantee you will love the incredible reader community they have built – over 9,000 strong in their Facebook group!
Each week a different Tall Poppy takes over and we, readers are invited into their homes and lives in a truly intimate and personal way. It’s a unique and welcoming place like no other I’ve seen.
Susan Meissner, Kathryn Craft, Amy Impellizzeri and Sonja Yoerg were among the first Tall Poppy authors I discovered. Kathryn’s incredible book THE FAR END OF HAPPY will forever have a spot in my top ten favorite books. When I first read Amy’s LEMONGRASS HOPE, I discovered how an author can throw in a twist that will blow your mind! Sonja is an incredible wordsmith and THE MIDDLE OF SOMEWHERE is a beautiful tribute to hiking, personal redemption and the outdoors. I have had the privilege of meeting Susan Meissner several times as we both live in Southern California and she is my go-to for all things historical fiction! I recently read her backlist title A FALL OF MARIGOLDS, another dual timeline story that has stolen my heart. I also got to meet the lovely Kristy Woodson Harvey this year, she’s as classy and talented as you’d think. SLIGHTLY SOUTH OF SIMPLE is the first in a series of perfect “beach reads” that will have you sipping sweet tea and enjoying the juicy drama at Peachtree Bluff!
