Top Ten Tuesday | Ten Fictional Females I’d Want As Friends #toptentuesday #iwd2019

Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday post. The prompt for the week was Ten Characters I’d Want to Switch Places With. In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th, I’ve changed it slightly to: Ten Fictional Females I’d Want To Be Friends With!

Nancy Drew | Girl detective, clever, always gets her guy, cute car. She’s the friend you call when when you want to go to the mall.

Hermione Granger | Witch, super intelligent, not too girly, calm under pressure and she’s got the Time Turner. She’d be my study partner friend for sure.

Lara Croft | Bad ass archaeologist, far off adventures and all the cool spy gadgets. She’s the friend that would drag my butt to the gym.

Rory Gilmore | Funny, smart, introvert, awkward and loves books and coffee. We’d both be in the same book club.

Buffy Summers | Vampire slayer, fantastic weapons, fast reflexes and fights evil. She’s the friend I’d want to call during the apocalypse.

Veronica Mars | Another girl detective, she’s got sarcasm and snark AND she’s a marshmallow! She’s the one I’d call for a sleepover and then we’d have to go investigate something.

Leslie Knope | Ambitious, loyal and extremely cheerful, she’s the friend you call when you need a pep talk. Or to celebrate Galentines Day!

Daenerys Targaryen | speaks many languages, powerful and she’s got Dragons for Pete’s sake. She’s the friend you call when your little sister is being bullied.

Stephanie Plum | She’s resourceful, hates guns, low maintenance and she loves food. I’d love to go eat dinner at her parents house with Grandma Mazur.

Bridget Jones | Loves to have a good time, she’s got a wicked sense of humor and she’s British. She’s the friend you call when you need to flee the country!

QOTD: Who’s in your tribe? Post your favorite fictional females in the comments!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
